At present we seem just short of having several more alternatives. Once android tv goes to Nougat in the next month or two, it will be compatible with tv tuners, so boxes like the Nvidia Shield and Xiaomi Mi Box may become options. Those boxes have amazing functionality. My FTA watching is decreasing every month, but I still use it for news and sport, and the kids for ABC Kids.
